Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing maximusvisions.com or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; changes are effective upon posting.
2. Description of Services
Maximus Visions provides professional photography and videography services including wedding photography, family portraits, holiday sessions, and event coverage. We are based in New Jersey and serve the NJ and NYC metropolitan area. Specific deliverables are outlined in individual booking confirmations.
3. Booking & Payments
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and required deposit. A non-refundable retainer secures your date. The remaining balance is due per your service agreement, typically by session date. All prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes.
We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other methods specified at booking.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Client cancellations forfeit the retainer. Additional fees may apply per your service agreement. We accommodate rescheduling requests subject to availability; please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
For outdoor sessions affected by weather, we will reschedule at no extra charge.
5. Intellectual Property
All photographs and videos are protected by copyright. Maximus Visions retains copyright ownership. Upon full payment, clients receive a personal, non-exclusive license for non-commercial use (printing, personal social media, personal display).
We reserve the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may not sell, license, or commercially use images without written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected session. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We recommend clients secure their own copies of delivered files promptly.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Disputes shall be resolved in New Jersey courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
