Glen Rock — named for the glacial boulder still sitting on Rock Road — is a pocket-sized town with a quiet downtown, two NJ Transit stations, and some of the prettiest residential streets in the area. Our family sessions here often start at the boulder itself and drift into the side streets where the light filters through old oaks.
In Glen Rock we photograph at The Glen Rock itself — the glacial boulder on Rock Road — then walk the oak-lined side streets toward Wilde Memorial Park and Faber Field. The borough's two historic train stations anchor engagement walks, and many of our most intimate backyard weddings have been on Glen Rock private properties.

When is the light best in Glen Rock?
The old oaks over Glen Rock's residential streets filter light beautifully from June through September, giving us dappled shade all afternoon. In late October the canopy opens and Wilde Park takes over as the warmer backdrop.
What we photograph in Glen Rock
Four practices, one studio.
Maximus Visions is a wedding photographer first — that's the work that built the studio. Around it we've built three more practices that share the same documentary eye, the same two-person team, and the same standard of finish.
01
Wedding Photographer
Primary practice
Documentary coverage, ceremony to last dance.
Our primary practice. Eight years of full-day wedding coverage across New Jersey and New York City — getting-ready through reception exit. We work in pairs, quietly, with a documentary eye and a deep familiarity with the venues, churches, synagogues, and country clubs in the Bergen and Passaic County corridor.

Photography Studio
A fully equipped studio for portraits, headshots & editorials.
Our Paramus studio is built for controlled-light portrait work — family, brand, headshot, and editorial sessions on backdrop and natural-light setups. We own our gear: Profoto strobes, medium-format and full-frame mirrorless bodies, prime glass, and tethered capture for in-session preview.

Aerial Photography
FAA Part 107 licensed drone coverage.
We are FAA Part 107 certified and insured for commercial drone operation. Aerial coverage adds a register no ground photographer can match — venue grounds, ceremony arrivals, large group portraits, real-estate-style estate establishing shots, and 4K aerial cinematography woven into wedding films.

Event Photographer
Corporate, private, and milestone event coverage.
Beyond weddings, we cover the full calendar of events that matter — corporate galas, fundraisers, conferences, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, baby showers, and brand activations. Same documentary eye, same two-person team, scaled to the room.
Can we shoot at The Glen Rock for our engagement session?
Absolutely. It's one of our favorite low-key spots — we usually start there for a few frames and then walk the side streets toward Wilde Park as the light softens.
Do you cover Glen Rock backyard weddings?
Yes — many of our most intimate weddings have been on Glen Rock private properties. We bring a quiet two-person team so the day still feels like yours.
