In Elmwood Park we photograph at Veterans Memorial Park — the tree line along the back perimeter gives soft afternoon light from late September through early November — and along the Passaic River walking paths. May through August we schedule weekday-evening family sessions with a 6:30pm start, while the sun stays high.
