Waldwick is built around its NJ Transit station, with old maples lining the residential streets and a small, walkable downtown. We document family sessions in Borough Park and engagement walks along the Saddle River County Park trail extension.
In Waldwick we photograph family sessions at Borough Park — the maple line on its eastern edge gives us 90 minutes of warm, even light from about 4pm onward in October — and engagement sessions at the historic Waldwick Train Station, one of the more photogenic transit buildings in Bergen County.

When is the light best in Waldwick?
Mid-October at Borough Park is the borough's signature window: the eastern maple line filters the late sun into long, even warmth. The station house works year-round and is especially good on quiet Sunday mornings.
