Franklin Lakes: where the reception ends at the waterline.
Franklin Lakes is estate country — winding lanes, deep wooded lots, and the lakeside grounds of the Indian Trail Club, one of the most photographed wedding settings in northwest Bergen County. The borough's nature preserve adds meadow and water frames minutes from any ceremony.
In Franklin Lakes we photograph weddings at the Indian Trail Club — ceremony lawn, cocktail-hour grounds, and the lakeside at golden hour — plus estate-lane portraits through the borough's wooded neighborhoods and family sessions on the flat boardwalk loop of the Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve.

When is the light best in Franklin Lakes?
The Indian Trail Club's lakeside doubles the sky at golden hour — we hold that slot no matter how the timeline moves. The Nature Preserve's pond loop works for toddlers and grandparents alike, and its October color is as good as anywhere in the county.
What we photograph in Franklin Lakes
Four practices, one studio.
Maximus Visions is a wedding photographer first — that's the work that built the studio. Around it we've built three more practices that share the same documentary eye, the same two-person team, and the same standard of finish.
01
Wedding Photographer
Primary practice
Documentary coverage, ceremony to last dance.
Our primary practice. Eight years of full-day wedding coverage across New Jersey and New York City — getting-ready through reception exit. We work in pairs, quietly, with a documentary eye and a deep familiarity with the venues, churches, synagogues, and country clubs in the Bergen and Passaic County corridor.
Full-day wedding photography
Wedding videography (cinematic edit)

02
Photography Studio
A fully equipped studio for portraits, headshots & editorials.
Our Paramus studio is built for controlled-light portrait work — family, brand, headshot, and editorial sessions on backdrop and natural-light setups. We own our gear: Profoto strobes, medium-format and full-frame mirrorless bodies, prime glass, and tethered capture for in-session preview.

Aerial Photography
FAA Part 107 licensed drone coverage.
We are FAA Part 107 certified and insured for commercial drone operation. Aerial coverage adds a register no ground photographer can match — venue grounds, ceremony arrivals, large group portraits, real-estate-style estate establishing shots, and 4K aerial cinematography woven into wedding films.

04
Event Photographer
Corporate, private, and milestone event coverage.
Beyond weddings, we cover the full calendar of events that matter — corporate galas, fundraisers, conferences, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, baby showers, and brand activations. Same documentary eye, same two-person team, scaled to the room.
We build the day around the property's two strongest hours: ceremony light on the lawn and the lakeside at golden hour, when the water doubles the sky. Between them, the club's grounds carry cocktail-hour candids — our second shooter stays with guests while portraits happen at the shore.
Where can families take pictures in Franklin Lakes?
The Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve is the local secret — a flat boardwalk loop around a pond, meadow edges in every direction, and parking at the trailhead. It works for toddlers and grandparents alike, and October there is as good as anywhere in the county.
